Friends of the League
Ontario Power Generation, LEAF, Nature Conservancy of Canada, and Bruce Trail Conservancy partnered together to launch the League of Trees.
The educational campaign was created to raise awareness of the vital role trees play in the fight against climate change, while also committing to plant 500,000 trees in Ontario over two years. Learn more about each partner below.
The Bruce Trail Conservancy
The Bruce Trail is Canada’s oldest and longest public footpath. Stretching 900 km from Niagara to Tobermory, it provides the only continuous public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment.
Nature Conservancy of Canada
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is the nation's leading not-for-profit, private land conservation organization, working to protect our most important natural areas and the species they sustain.
LEAF
LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the urban forest. The urban forest is found on both public and private property within a municipality.

OPG is a climate change leader and the largest clean energy electricity generator in Ontario. OPG has spent decades protecting biodiversity. Since 2014, OPG has created or restored over 175 hectares of wetlands & planted over 7 million trees.
